Acceptable Use Policy

Last Updated: July 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy (the "AUP") sets out what you can and cannot do on Agriexchange.com. It supplements — and does not replace — our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

In short: keep it lawful, truthful, respectful, and safe. Anything illegal is not welcome on AgriEx.

1. Who This Applies To

This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) applies to everyone who uses Agriexchange.com — buyers, sellers, advertisers, verified sellers, admins, and visitors. Breaches may result in listing removal, account suspension, permanent bans, and, in serious cases, referral to law-enforcement authorities.

2. Listing Standards

Every listing on AgriEx must be:

  • Truthful — accurate title, description, specifications, origin, grade and quantity.
  • Owned or authorised — you actually own the goods, or are legally authorised to sell them.
  • Priced honestly — no bait pricing; the "valid until" date must be genuine.
  • Illustrated fairly — photos must represent the actual lot or a clearly-labelled reference image.
  • Certified where claimed — if you claim organic, halal, kosher, GAP, GlobalG.A.P., HACCP, ISO, or similar certification, valid certificate images must be attached.
  • Compliant — with all applicable laws, import/export rules, phytosanitary requirements and sanctions in the buyer's and seller's countries.

3. Prohibited Listings & Activity

The following are strictly forbidden on AgriEx:

  • Anything illegal to produce, own, sell, transport, import or export in the buyer's or seller's country.
  • Narcotics, controlled substances, and precursor chemicals.
  • Weapons, ammunition, explosives, or dual-use military goods.
  • Endangered or protected species, and any goods listed under CITES without valid permits.
  • Counterfeit, stolen, smuggled or misrepresented goods.
  • Unregistered agrochemicals, pesticides, veterinary medicines, or seed varieties banned in the destination market.
  • Human tissue, blood products, or any human-derived material.
  • Goods produced with forced labour, child labour, or in violation of modern-slavery legislation.
  • Goods originating from or destined for sanctioned parties, entities or jurisdictions.
  • Financial instruments, securities, derivatives, or tokenised claims on goods not fulfilled through AgriEx.
  • Deceptive, fraudulent, "get-rich-quick", pyramid or MLM offers.
  • Adult content, gambling, or any material inappropriate for a professional B2B environment.

4. Conduct Rules

All users agree not to:

  • Harass, threaten, defame, or discriminate against other users.
  • Post spam, unsolicited advertising, or repeated identical messages.
  • Attempt to move transactions off-platform to evade fees, verification or dispute resolution when the platform is being used to introduce the parties.
  • Impersonate any person, business, government body or certification authority.
  • Manipulate ratings, watchers, views, prices, or ticker data.
  • Attempt to circumvent tier limits, verification requirements, or paid features.
  • Scrape, harvest, or bulk-download listings, prices, contact details or personal data.
  • Reverse-engineer, probe, or interfere with the security of the platform.
  • Upload malware, phishing links, or malicious code.
  • Use the platform to send unsolicited marketing to other users' contact details.

5. Seller Verification & Trust

The "Verified seller" badge is issued after review of documents you submit voluntarily. You may not fabricate, forge, alter or misuse any verification document, business registration, tax certificate or certification. Doing so results in permanent removal from the platform and, where relevant, reporting to the issuing authority.

6. Intellectual Property

You may only upload content — photos, videos, certificates, logos, text — that:

  • you own, or
  • you have a licence to publish, or
  • is in the public domain.

If you believe your intellectual property has been infringed on AgriEx, email support@agriexchange.com with proof of ownership and the listing URL. We remove infringing content promptly.

7. Enforcement

We may, at our discretion and without prior notice:

  • Remove, edit or unpublish any listing, message, advertisement or content.
  • Suspend, restrict or permanently close accounts.
  • Revoke a Verified-seller badge or any tier upgrade.
  • Withhold payouts pending investigation.
  • Report activity to regulators, tax authorities, or law enforcement.

Serious or repeated breaches will result in a permanent ban and may be shared with our fraud-prevention partners.

8. Reporting a Violation

To report a listing, message, user or advertisement that violates this policy, use the in-app "Report" action on the item, or email support@agriexchange.com with a link and short description. See our Contact page for other options.

By using AgriEx you agree to this Acceptable Use Policy.
